When a mysterious transmission draws Lady Lynx to the Meridian Concord — a vast starfleet that has never heard of her — she and Solaris go undercover aboard their science vessel with the help of Jonu, a young Concord commander playing her own game. Their target: the Sorcerer's Stone, the wish-granting relic at the heart of Lynx's quest. But the Concord wants something too — Solaris himself, whose impossible powers match the Stone's energy signature wave for wave. As the science team closes in and Solaris's control slips, the Stone vanishes without a trace, Lynx takes the blame, and the fleet's own sensors light up with a terrifying truth: the stolen Stone has turned against them.
